In a provision published in the Official Gazette of the Federation this Monday, they explain that since it is necessary to generate actions for "modernization and reengineering in penitentiary matters", this measure will facilitate mechanisms to achieve the social reintegration of inmates.

Those deprived of liberty in that prison will be transferred to the federal centers for social rehabilitation determined by the Commissioner for Prevention and Social Rehabilitation, "respecting their human rights at all times," the document says.

They added that the SSPC will determine the final destination of the building in which this penitentiary had been installed.
