New York-Sana
Tomorrow, the UN Security Council will hold an emergency closed meeting to discuss the situation in Nagorny Karabakh, which has been witnessing since the end of last week, a military escalation between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Diplomatic sources told AFP that the meeting is being held at the request of a number of European countries in the council to discuss the sudden military escalation between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh region witnessed a sudden military escalation, while the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides exchanged accusations about the causes of the escalation. These developments come two months after a similar escalation in the border region between Armenia and Azerbaijan in mid-July, where the two sides exchanged accusations of causing it.
