The latest opinion poll in Turkey expects that the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will suffer a confirmed defeat in the Turkish presidential elections, if they are held now.
Kamal Ozkiraz, head of the Afrasia Foundation for Social Studies, said that the poll conducted last week showed that 32.3 percent would vote for the "Left Alliance", which includes the CHP and the HDP, and 21.2 percent would vote for the "Right Alliance" if the future parties agreed with Ahmed's leadership Davutoglu, the Democracy and Progress Party led by Ali Babacan and the Happiness Party led by Tamal Karamullaoglu with the Good Party led by Maral Akshanar to form this alliance.
The poll predicted that Erdogan would suffer defeat if the Turkish opposition parties' alliance continued with each other and agreed on a common candidate, as was the case in the Istanbul municipal elections in June 2018.
And an opinion poll in mid-May on the popularity of political parties in Turkey revealed that about 25 percent of the former voters for the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) have become disloyal to it and its policies since the parliamentary elections in 2018.
