 The Naples Court of Appeal acquitted "for not having committed the crime" the former Undersecretary for the Economy, Nicola Cosentino, in the so-called "The Prince and the Ballerina Card", in which the former Campania coordinator of Forza Italia he was accused of the crime of attempted use of illicit capital with the aggravating mafia, in relation to the construction in Casal di Principe of a shopping center wanted by the Casalesi clan, but never built. In the first instance Cosentino had been sentenced to five and a half years in prison by the court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere; today the attorney general had asked Cosentino to confirm the sentence. It is the second acquittal for the former Forza Italia strongman, after the one received in the trial on the family fuel company.
