Dorfen -

The Lockdown has shaped the musician Andreas Begert from Dorfen: “Since then, you have met few people, and you often don't see your best friends anymore.

The longing for normality and social contact has grown ever greater, ”says the 30-year-old family man.

That went deep into his subconscious.

He also wants to give hope not to give up in difficult times.

Based on this experience, he is now bringing his new album "Mein Lied" with 22 songs onto the market, which can be streamed on Spotify from October 2nd.

Begert relies on German-language pop music with rap elements.

It had become an encouraging album, according to the musical all-rounder, who for the first time had to do without any other musicians or a band.

“I wrote, sang and recorded everything myself,” he says.

All songs are in High German and last about three minutes.

“Linear, short and crisp,” he describes the music.

The structure of the songs is extremely harmonious.

Begert's role models are Herbert Grönemeyer and Konstantin Wecker: "The lyrics are a bit reminiscent of the songwriters, even if they are not socially critical, but deal with love, separation and pain."

And about Corona, a crisis that hits particularly young artists hard: "People no longer like going to concerts or other cultural events," said the musician.

“We are almost on the verge of loneliness.

These feelings are reflected in the songs.

The album is a harbinger of Begert's future direction in pop music, his next solo album is due to be released in December and the first album with the band Einhoch6 in the coming year, on which Begert will also sing.

"Musically, the band bridges the gap between pop and classical music and is one of the leading bands in the crossover sector," said Begert.
