British MPs on Tuesday, September 29 approved a controversial bill from the government of Boris Johnson which partly goes back to the Brexit agreement and angered Europeans, in the midst of trade negotiations between London and the 27.

Despite dissensions within the Conservatives, this text, which admittedly violates international law, was approved in the evening at third reading by the deputies with 340 for and 256 against, paving the way for its consideration by the Lords in the coming weeks.
