Daraa and Homs-Sana
The Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Directorate in Daraa closed seven violating petrol stations in different parts of the governorate.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Dr. Yahya Abdullah, stated in a statement to SANA's correspondent today that the closures included Al-Zoubi and Panorama stations in the city of Daraa for a period of a whole month for violations related to tampering with the electronic card and the presence of an excess amount of benzene reserves estimated at 500 liters, pointing out that the closure included two stations Marwan Al-Jaber in Jassim, Al-Anwar on Damascus Daraa highway for 15 days, and Al-Ghazali stations in Khirbet Ghazaleh and Al-Saleh in Al-Sanamayn for a period of seven days, due to the sale at an excessive price, indicating that the Al-Rabita farm station in Yaduda was closed for seven days due to the lack of a skewer to estimate the quantities.
In Homs, members of the Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Directorate seized the Izz al-Din fuel station in the northern countryside, for violating the illegal disposal of diesel and petrol.
Engineer Rami Al-Youssef, Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, stated that the station responsible had illegally disposed 4000 liters of diesel and 3000 liters of gasoline from the station’s reserves.
Al-Youssef stated that the necessary rationing control has been organized, all necessary legal measures have been taken, and the station closed.
