French household morale remains stable in September

Household morale remained stable in France in September, with confidence in their future financial situation exceeding the long-term average for the first time since February, according to the monthly INSEE survey published on Tuesday.

The synthetic indicator measuring consumer sentiment remains below this average, however, at the same level as in August, while fears about the trend in unemployment remain high.
