Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatib Zadeh denied the allegations about the transfer of weapons and military equipment through Iranian territory to Armenia, stressing that his country absolutely does not allow its lands to be used for this purpose.
Khatibzadeh said in a statement today that "the Islamic Republic of Iran is monitoring carefully and required the process of transporting goods and their transit to neighboring countries and does not in any way allow its territory to be used to transport weapons and ammunition."
He pointed out that trucks usually pass and traditional civilian goods are transported by transit between Iran and neighboring countries, as only the aforementioned trucks operate in this context.
