A 44-year-old man, Mirko Congera, was stabbed to death this night in Prato inside his home in via Firenze.
The victim's companion was also injured, who is hospitalized in the Santo Stefano city hospital but would not be in danger of life.
The carabinieri, intervened on the spot, would have tracked down the alleged responsible, an acquaintance of the couple arrested on charges of murder and attempted murder.
The suspect was taken to the provincial command of the carabinieri where his interrogation is underway.
