Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said Tuesday (September 29th) to support the Paris initiative calling for the formation of a government in Lebanon as soon as possible in order to release crucial international aid, however calling for a "
revision
" of the tone and of the operating mode.

We still welcome the French initiative (...) but the intimidation of last month must not continue,
" said Hassan Nasrallah in a televised speech. "
We do not accept your accusation of treason (...) We reject and condemn this condescending behavior
", he added two days after the inflammatory speech by French President Emmanuel Macron who accused the Lebanese political class, there including Hezbollah, of "
collective betrayal
".
