Today, the Italian Ministry of Health announced that a significant increase in the number of deaths due to infection with the new Corona virus has been recorded in the country.
Italian news agency AKI quoted the Ministry of Health as saying in its daily report that 24 new deaths were recorded with the virus, bringing the total number to 35,875 deaths, and 1648 new cases of infection were recorded, pointing to the presence of 271 patients in intensive care departments.
The ministry's report indicated that the Campania province, in the south of the country, recorded the largest increase in new infections, with 286 infections since yesterday.
In Japan, 518 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded, including 212 in the capital, Tokyo, which brings the total number of cases in the country to 83,115 cases, compared with 279 cases that were recorded yesterday.
