Since the 1990s, the Justice Ministers of Carlos Menem, Fernando De la Rúa, Eduardo Duhalde, Néstor Kirchner, Cristina Kirchner and Mauricio Macri transferred 65 judges to fill vacancies in the courts.

Menem made 10 transfers of magistrates, De la Rúa 2, Duhalde 2, Néstor Kirchner 5, Cristina Kirchner 18 and Macri 22.
