In a kitchen fire in Vorderbaumberg (Fraunberg municipality), two residents of a residential building were slightly injured on Tuesday morning.

Fraunberg - Harald Pataschitsch, deputy head of the Erdingen police, reports that the emergency call came in around 11 a.m. The integrated control center alerted the Maria Thalheim, Fraunberg and Wartenberg fire brigades as well as the rescue service. When they arrived, thick smoke came out of the building. Two residents were able to get to safety in time. The fire brigade entered the building wearing a breathing apparatus and put out the fire. The entire property was then vented. It is uninhabitable for the time being. Parts of the furniture and the ceiling burned. "We are currently assuming a technical defect," explains Pataschitsch.
