Torah Judaism chairman Yaakov Litzman is considering returning to the government, just two weeks after resigning as Minister of Construction and Housing following the decision to impose a general closure during the holidays, Walla! NEWS learned today (Wednesday). In recent days, Litzman has asked senior officials in blue and white. His appointment to the post of Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing, based on their quota of Deputy Ministers,

Litzman turned to blue and white after the right-wing bloc headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took advantage of his quota of deputy ministers when the government was sworn in. Eight deputy ministers were appointed. Blue and white chairman Bnei Gantz has not appointed a single deputy minister under his existing quota, following public criticism of the "inflated government" in meat and appointments.

In blue and white, Litzman's request is being examined, and so far no answer has been given to them.

Litzman is examining the possibility of returning to the Ministry of Construction and Housing as deputy minister, and appointing a minister.
