A new episode in sight in the dispute between the World Trade Organization (WTO), the United States and the European Union (EU) since 2004 on the issue of public aid to aeronautics.
Each party accuses the other of illegal support for its champion: Boeing and Airbus.
The WTO confirms that it will soon rule on the European complaint, on October 13, according to the Bloomberg agency.

The organization is preparing to allow Europeans to apply a surcharge of $ 4 billion, according to Reuters, on a list of American products and services imported into their territory.
This, in compensation for public aid improperly received by Boeing.
Among the products targeted by these sanctions, the planes delivered by the American giant to European companies.
Boeing says it has delivered 4,600 aircraft in Europe over the past 60 years to 130 companies.
To this first set of sanctions could be added 4.2 billion additional surcharges linked to an authorization
