Aid to Boeing: Europe authorized to overtax American products

The WTO had given Washington a green light on Airbus. Brussels in turn will be able to strike.


A new episode in sight in the dispute between the World Trade Organization (WTO), the United States and the European Union (EU) since 2004 on the issue of public aid to aeronautics.

Each party accuses the other of illegal support for its champion: Boeing and Airbus.

The WTO confirms that it will soon rule on the European complaint, on October 13, according to the Bloomberg agency.
