Eight residents of an nursing home affected by Covid-19 near Toulouse have died since early September and six are currently hospitalized, said the Regional Health Agency (ARS) Occitanie on Wednesday September 30.

To date, 51 residents have tested positive, 6 have been hospitalized and 8 have died,
" said the ARS in a press release, confirming information from the

Generalized screening had been done after "
a professional working with several residents of the Bastide Médicis nursing home located in Labège (near Toulouse), was reported positive for the Covid-19 virus on August 28
", added the agency.
This Ehpad has a capacity of 80 residents and 48 employees.
Among the employees, 22 positive cases were identified and "
placed in solitary confinement, on sick leave
", according to the ARS, which underlines that the evolution of the state of health of all of these people makes the difference. 'subject to "
