Hundreds of demonstrators gathered tonight (Wednesday) near the prime minister's residence in Jerusalem as part of a protest against Benjamin Netanyahu.

At the same time, hundreds of demonstrators are also marching on King George Street in Tel Aviv, calling for Netanyahu's resignation.

This, after the law that allows restricting demonstrations during the closure passed in the Knesset last night in the second and third readings, and before such regulations were approved by the government.

Yishai Hadas, one of the leaders of the "Prime Minister" organization, harshly attacked Netanyahu in the shadow of the law's approval.

"Netanyahu is shaking from the demonstrations in Balfour because they reveal his failures and will bring an end to his rule. To prevent them, he kidnapped democracy as a hostage on the way to escaping justice," Hadas said, "tonight, and as long as I can, I will stand in front of the residence and demand it go home."

Other figures in the protest movement also made it clear that they do not intend to stop them, and that they will protest against Netanyahu as much as they are allowed to do so.

"We are in favor of anyone who can demonstrate and protest, anyone who feels that this government has knocked him out - that he will do it in every way. Everywhere. Balfour will be on every second street in Israel. Let him not think he will be left there alone. The young people "Komi Israel".

"We will continue to expose all the failures of managing this crisis that has created a crazy economic catastrophe here and left hundreds of thousands of young people without a livelihood. Without a home. Without a future."

"The Israeli government led by defendant Netanyahu and his de facto partner in the elimination of democracy, Bnei Gantz, is dragging Israel into an abyss that will take years to emerge from," also accused Shikma Schwartzman Bressler, of the Black Flags movement, "when failed leadership falls on us, our citizens. "In the coming days, Israelis will wash the streets demanding the restoration of democracy, the replacement of the prime minister, the treatment of Corona and the restoration of the economy. We must take care of these four points, otherwise we will find ourselves as a failed dictatorship," she said.

The black flag movement even announced the establishment of a protest line, which will allow demonstrations within a kilometer of the house on Thursdays and Saturday evenings throughout the closure period, under the heading "Demonstrations of Hope."

"These are dark and difficult days for the State of Israel. No country in the world has restricted the right to demonstrate in legislation, for a very simple reason - it makes no health sense. There is only criminal logic, of a criminal accused trying to escape the terror," the movement said.

"The fact that Gantz chose to join Netanyahu puts him in line with Mickey Zohar, Osnat Mark and Miri Regev. This coming weekend, the State of Israel will tremble from a demonstration on a scale not yet in Israel. Hundreds of thousands will go to every corner to protest the destruction of the economy and democracy by the criminal defendant."

The restrictions will be brought in tonight or tomorrow for government approval

The new corona regulations that will restrict demonstrations during the closure are expected to be submitted to the government for approval tonight or tomorrow.

The Ministry of Justice is working on formulating the restrictions, together with the police and the Ministry of Health.

Under the amendment to the law passed last night, the government may stipulate that the distance limit on leaving the house will also apply to those who go out to demonstrate.

For example, it will not be possible to go more than a kilometer from home even for this purpose.

In addition, the government will be able to set a limit on the number of participants in the demonstration, in contrast to the situation that has existed until now, which exempted the demonstrations from the ban.

The amendments to the "Great Corona Law" passed tonight in the plenum in the second and third readings by a majority of 46 supporters against 38 opponents.

The Movement for the Quality of Government petitioned the High Court against restricting the demonstrations.

Public to a minimal extent.

However, the regulations stipulate that the government will not declare a special state of emergency due to the corona virus unless it has been presented with the position of the Minister of Health and a professional opinion from the Ministry of Health establishing the existence of the serious health condition.

If a state of emergency is declared - it will be valid for seven days, and can be extended to a maximum of 21 days.
