The Putin critic Navalny has been released from inpatient treatment, he was treated after poisoning.

In this case, Moscow is again addressing Foreign Minister Maas.

  • The poisoned

    has been released from the

    Berlin Charité

    .

  • The hospital also commented on his

    health -

    had previously been in a

    for weeks

Update of 30 September, 20:19

: In the case of the poisoned Kremlin critic

Alexei Navalny *

has Moscow Foreign Minister

(* SPD) Heiko Maas

, a

Russia hostile policy

accused.

The statements of the politician before the

UN General Assembly

are the continuation of a “hostile anti-Russian line in Berlin” in connection with the “so-called“ poisoning ”of A. Navalny,” said the Russian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday.

Russia emphasized that the

Novichok group

had not yet presented any evidence of

the alleged poisoning * of Navalny's with the chemical weapons

ban

.

Maas had described the poisoning of Navalny with a chemical warfare agent as a "problem for the entire international community" and

threatened

Russia again with

sanctions

.

“I urge Russia to do more to solve this case.

Such a case cannot remain without consequences, ”said Maas in a video address recorded for Tuesday's session.

Navalny case: Putin government tackles Maas (SPD) - "cynical"

The statements by Maas are particularly

cynical

because the German side

ignores

Russian

requests for legal aid

and

offers of cooperation

, the ministry said in Moscow.

Russia has come to the conclusion that in view of "the behavior of Germany and its allies in the

EU

and

NATO,

it is impossible to have anything to do with the West until it ceases the methods of provocation (...) and begins to to act honestly and responsibly ”.

Navalny had collapsed on a domestic flight in Russia in August and was later taken to Berlin's

Charité

hospital for treatment

.

He was in an

artificial coma for

weeks,

but Navalny has since been released.

He is still in Germany

(see first report from September 23)

.

Russia denies all allegations of being involved in the case.

Navalny sends an emotional message to his lifesavers - was that what the murderers prevented?

Update from September 25, 3:25 p.m.:

After surviving the poisoning,

Alexej

Navalny

thanks

his helpers and protectors in an

Instagram post

.

The

Kremlin critic introduces this

by pointing out that there are currently important people in his life whose names he does not know.

He was "so grateful to so many people" who "happened to have played a

key role in my fate

".

He could only call them “unknown good friends”.

Then he circumscribes the

plan of the now failed murderer

, as it presents himself to him: “I will feel bad 20 minutes after the take-off (of the plane), after another 15 minutes I will

pass out

.

Medical help is guaranteed not to be available and in another hour I will continue my

journey in a black plastic bag

in the last row of seats and scare the passengers who go to the bathroom. "

But then "a

chain of happy circumstances

and clear actions of an unknown kind" would have started.

The pilots “landed quickly in Omsk despite the announced 'expansion' of the airport.

In addition, the

medical staff at

the airport and the doctors in the ambulance immediately

spoke of

poisoning

and administered Navalny a

dose of atropine

.

“That means the pilots and these first doctors gave me an additional 15 to 20 hours of life.” After that, things went dramatically and “that deserves a story of its own, but there would definitely be nothing to tell if it hadn't been for these guys”.

Nawalny's spokeswoman explains plan - will he stay in Germany for weeks?

Update from September 25, 11:05 a.m.:

According to his spokeswoman, the

poisoned

Kremlin critic Alexej Navalny will

probably

have

to

be

treated

in Germany for several weeks

.

"Nawalny's recovery will of course take a long time," said his spokeswoman Kira Jarmysch in an online broadcast on Thursday evening.

He will stay in Germany for the time being and will undergo rehab treatment there.

"That is clearly not a question of a few days and probably also not a question of a few weeks."

The Russian opposition member was released from inpatient treatment in the

Berlin Charité clinic

on Wednesday

.

According to his own statements, the 44-year-old still suffers from considerable physical consequences of

poisoning with the nerve agent Novitschok

, for example he can no longer throw or write a ball with his left hand.

However, the attending physicians believe that a full recovery is possible.

According to his spokeswoman, Navalny wants to return to his home country after completing his medical treatment.

According to Yarmysh, his

assets in Russia

have since been frozen by order of a court (see below).

Navalny: Russia confiscates apartment - and freezes accounts

Update from September 24th, 8:33 pm

: Not only was

Navalny's apartment

confiscated

by the

Russian authorities

- his accounts are also said to have been frozen.

According to his spokeswoman Kira Jarmysch is on 27 August, when

Navalny

a corresponding arrangement was still in a coma, has been made.

The Kremlin critic can therefore no longer make any transactions from his accounts.

Navalny's Anti-

Corruption

Fund

was charged with defamation in Russia and obliged to pay damages after accusing the owner of creating a monopoly and delivering bad food (see update from 09/24/2020, 5:11 p.m.).

While he was in a coma at the Charité: Navalny's apartment in Moscow was confiscated

Update from September 24th, 5:11 p.m

.: One day after the Russian

Kremlin critic Alexej

Navalny was

released

from the

Berlin Charité

after successful treatment

, it is known that Russian authorities have confiscated his house in Moscow.

The authorities had apparently decided to take the step when

Navalny was

in a coma in Berlin - which Navalny's spokeswoman rated as “another negative example of the Russian judiciary's actions”.

The seizure is related to a court ruling against

Nawalny's Anti-Corruption Fund

(FBK).

The fund was fined 88 million rubles (around one million euros) after a lawyer close to the FBK

uncovered

a scandal during the execution of a

government contract

for school meals.

Navalny can still live in his apartment now, but he can no longer sell it.

Navalny's FBK had raised allegations of corruption against

billionaire Yevgeny Prigozhin

, who, as a former cook with

Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin,

repeatedly receives lucrative jobs, for example in school meals.

Most recently, there were also allegations about the quality of the food after health problems emerged in children.

After poisoning: Navalny released from the station - what will happen to the Kremlin critic now?

First report from September 23

: Berlin - One month after his admission to the

Berlin Charité

, the poisoned Russian opposition politician

Alexej Navalny was released

from inpatient treatment.

The

health of

the 44-year-old had "improved to the point that the

acute medical treatment could be

ended" by the time he was

discharged on Tuesday

, the university hospital announced on Wednesday.

Navalny was admitted to the Charité on August 22, after collapsing two days earlier during a flight in Russia - according to the

German government

, Navalny was

"undoubtedly"

poisoned

with a

chemical nerve agent

from the so-called Novichok group.

1/3 🇩🇪 Alexei #Nawalny was released from inpatient treatment yesterday.

The patient's state of health has improved to such an extent that the acute medical treatment could be ended.

Navalny case: Asylum for the Putin critic in Germany or France?

Apparently, Navalny has no plans to stay in Germany permanently and apply for asylum.

Navalny

spokeswoman

Kira Jarmysch

told the

Bild

editorial team that he wanted to go back to Russia and continue his work there as soon as his state of health allowed it.

There was never an alternative, says Jarmysch.

She had already

emphasized

this on September

15

in a tweet: "There have never been other options considered," wrote Jarmysch at the time.

It is strange when someone accepts something else.

The

New York Times

had previously

reported that Navalny had announced his

return plans to

the

German authorities

.

At the beginning of the month,

an

FDP politician

advocated granting asylum to the Russian opposition in Germany.

French President

Emmanuel Macron

had also brought about

asylum

for Navalny.
