An arson attack on the night of Monday to Tuesday at the stud farm of a prison guard at Borgo in Haute-Corse, after a series of similar events in July, the Force Ouvrière PACA-Corse union denounced on Wednesday September 30 in a press release.

An investigation for destruction by dangerous means was opened and entrusted to the gendarmerie, the Bastia prosecutor's office told AFP.
No animals were injured in the fire.

to prohibit festive gatherings within the penitentiary,

Several investigations opened
In July, several investigations were opened by the Bastia prosecutor's office following the fire of several vehicles of prison staff in front of the prison or in front of their homes.
Tags had also been discovered on the facade of the prison, prompting two officers by name to leave and the director of the establishment had received a threatening letter.

A source familiar with the matter then told AFP that it all started with a cell phone seized during a random search and which contained a video showing a party in a cell with bottles of champagne and several detainees being filming yourself with cell phones.
