A violent incident was recorded today (Wednesday) in Herzliya in which a group of men were seen during a brawl with police and municipal inspectors outside a cafe in the city.

The details of the incident indicate that the confrontation between the parties began around the enforcement of the Corona guidelines.

At the beginning of the video, the force is seen arresting one of the civilians, when suddenly another civilian arrives and starts beating one of the inspectors.

A melee develops, and punches and strangulations are seen.

The police explained that the incident began as part of the activity of enforcing the purple character in the afternoon, during which a report was recorded by a municipal inspector to a business owner on Ben Gurion Street in Herzliya.

"This is a business that was warned in the morning by the municipal inspectorate due to non-compliance with the regulations and the business owner was told that a re-inspection would be carried out at 16:00," police said.

After registering the report the inspectors continued their activities in businesses nearby, a cafe-confectionery tried.

After a while the brothers from the business came to the force, two inspectors and a policeman, and began to confront them.

According to police, one of the brothers threatened the policeman and the inspectors and in response the policeman arrested him for making threats.

"While transferring the detainee to the mobile, his two brothers began attacking the inspectors and the police officer," it was reported.
