3.47 p.m.:

It was originally announced that the new Kneipp garden in the Tölzer Kurpark would be ready before the summer holidays.

But now the work on it has been dragging on for a long time and is still not finished.

After all, the Kneipp pool is now taking shape.

2.30 p.m .:

Final work on the road to the Leonhardiwiese in Bad Tölz: a bitumen layer is being applied here today.

Although there is no pilgrimage this year, the Tölz city council has already scheduled the pilgrimages in 2021 and 2022 in its session on Tuesday.

12:32 p.m.:

 In an accident in the Tölzer bathing area, property damage of around 3000 euros resulted on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the police, a 31-year-old from Taufkirchen an der Vils (Dorfen district) wanted to drive her Skoda from the parking lot of the Hotel Schlössl into Schützenweg at around 3:20 p.m.

In doing so, she overlooked the Toyota of a 48-year-old Töltz woman coming from the left, who was just heading towards the large parking lot on Schützenweg.

Nobody was injured in the collision, and both cars remained operational.

11:14 a.m.:

The unemployment rate in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district fell slightly in September: from 3.2 percent in August to 3.0 percent now.

According to a statement from the Employment Agency, 2,146 women and men were registered as unemployed (August: 2,247).

10.02 a.m.:

Be careful on the B472: Two cars have collided near the Bad Tölz-Mitte exit, there are slight traffic obstructions, but you can drive past the scene of the accident.

9.47 a.m.:

In Holzkirchen there is

currently

a round table on the topics of accessibility and noise on the new BRB Lint trains.

The BRB management has invited the President of the State Parliament, Ilse Aigner, the District Councilors Olaf von Löwis (Miesbach) and Josef Niedermaier (Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen), among others.

4.20 p.m.:

 The performance competition of the German crafts determines the best journeymen in Germany every year.

As announced by the Chamber of Crafts for Munich and Upper Bavaria, five participants from the district have also reached the next round and will now face the Bavaria-wide competition.

These are the office management clerk Emily Kirschke from Bad Tölz, the agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technician Leonhard Gistl from Münsing, the butcher Johannes Danner from Jachenau, the saddler specializing in equestrian saddlery Antonia Zastera from Lenggries and the system electronics technician Tom Pawlicki from Wolfratshausen.

You are one of the 71 women and men who have passed the best journeyman or final exams in Upper Bavaria.

In other years, the chamber winners would have been invited to a ceremony in Munich, but this year it was canceled due to Corona.

Next, according to the Chamber of Crafts, the best journeymen and women in Bavaria will be determined before the competition continues at the federal level.

Good news for friends of the series "Tonio & Julia".

As is well known, the action and shooting location is Bad Tölz.

On Sundays, October 11th and 18th, two new episodes will be broadcast on ZDF.

 At the nursing school in Bad Tölz, a “generalist nursing training” for the three formerly separate nursing professions “health and nurse”, “health and child nurse” and “geriatric nurse” began for the first time.

“The trainees study together for two years and set a focus for practical training.

In the third year they can choose a specialization or continue their generalist training, ”explains Christine Zürr, head of the vocational school for nursing at Asklepios Nursing Schools gGmbH at Asklepios City Clinic Bad Tölz.

On September 1st, the starting shot for this completely new branch of training was given for the 24 trainees.

 Around 11.64 million dairy cows, beef cattle, breeding animals, suckler cows or calves were in stables and on pasture in Germany in November 2019. That is around 310,000 fewer than a year earlier. According to data from the State Statistical Office, 41,699 animals are kept in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district, 477 fewer than a year ago.
