Donald Trump and Joe Biden will hold the first debate on Tuesday ahead of the presidential elections in the United States.

The six issues the White House hopefuls will address will be Trump and Biden's track record;

the future of the Supreme Court;

the covid-19 pandemic;

the economy;

racial tensions and violence in cities;

and the integrity of the electoral process.

It is foreseeable, however, that Biden will bring the issue of the Republican's non-payment of taxes to debate.

The first crossover between Trump and Biden will be moderated by journalist Chris Wallace, one of the most respected figures on

Fox News.

EL PAÍS will broadcast the debate live and direct on the web accompanied by a live broadcast with analysis and

fact checking

on the candidates' statements.

The debate takes place at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, a key state in the elections on November 3.
