中三男生驟然墮樓身亡，姚母痛失愛兒既傷心又不解，感嘆「手機害人」，如今只昐身在廣州的大女能來港，見弟弟最後一面。中秋前夕，一名14歲姓姚男生從長沙灣蘇屋邨金松樓高處墮下，當場死亡。姚昨（30日）如常上學，惟在學校玩手遊被老師沒收了電話，姚母指兒子近年沉迷玩手機遊戲「王者榮耀」。據知，姚生前手機日夜不離手，成績由中一考10多名，跌至中三考70多名。姚母對子讚不絕口，並稱愛兒性格樂觀，「佢作文好叻，寫文章好優美！」她認為事件屬於不幸，不能怪責老師沒收手機。

「我個仔走咗啦，我好痛苦！」中秋節，痛失愛兒的姚母惆悵14歲兒的身後事，最希望身在廣州的女兒可以來洗見弟弟最後一面。丈夫早年因病去世，姚母一直母兼父職。對於兒子離世，姚母傷心不解，只嘆「手機害死佢！佢無咗手機等於生存唔到。」原來姚近年沉迷手機遊戲「王者榮耀」，成績一落千丈，「中三成績跌咗好多，中一排16名，跌咗依家70幾。數學不嬲90幾（分），但上網課唔適應可能，唔專心，就考到50幾（分）。」暑期期間早夜手機不離手，有時半夜會起床打機。姚母以往曾就兒子打機問題向社工求助，希望社工開導兒子。
她回憶昨（30日）兒子出事前情況，指上午10時半收到老師電話，稱沒收了兒子手機，考慮到兒子心情已致電社工希望對方開導兒子，但社工未有接電話。她指以往因為兒子玩電話問題，已經想找社工與子傾談，「（子）夜晚都會玩，基本上機不離手。」據她所知，老師向兒子稱沒收手機3個月，事實上是沒收3日，但唔准帶手機回校3個月，「（可能）老師講完佢（姚）接受唔到。」
She said that her son went out at 6:50 in the morning and arrived at school at 7:40. She was worried about not seeing his son go home at 2:59 in the afternoon, so she sent a message to her classmates.
The classmate said that he took a taxi home with the deceased, and the deceased was eating at the fast food restaurant downstairs. Yao's mother later discovered that her son had lost sight of herself.
The deceased was addicted to mobile phone games, his phone was confiscated by the teacher at school, his shortcomings were recorded and he was forbidden to bring his phone back to school for 3 months.

"I have never seen anything like this (suicide)!" Mother Yao was full of praise to her son, saying that "The composition is good, the essay is beautiful, and the essays written by him are almost used by the teacher as a model essay." He has an optimistic personality and believes that the incident is misfortune, and the teacher cannot be blamed for confiscating the phone.
The incident occurred at about 3 pm yesterday (30th). A 14-year-old boy named Yao was found lying on the platform of Jinsong Building, Suwu Village, Changsha Bay. The ambulance crew confirmed that the boy died on the spot.
Security found the deceased's rucksack on the roof of the building.
