New waves of the emerging corona virus that causes "Covid 19" have spread throughout the European continent, registering a new increase in the number of infections, amid readiness to take new measures within the framework of isolation and closure by the governments of these countries.

France, which announced about 14,000 new infections with the virus during the past twenty-four hours, is close to the record levels it recorded last week, and the number of deaths rose to 3,2019 cases recently, which has recently strengthened measures aimed at containing the reappearance of the virus at the same pace of the first outbreak, while the Minister announced Health Olivier Ferrand said that the authorities are ready to impose more restrictions in some areas, led by the capital, Paris, in the event that the health situation related to the virus does not improve.

Veran stressed that “the virus is still following its rapid spread,” calling on his citizens to respect the rules of social distancing and restrictions in order to control the epidemic, saying: “We are in a stage where the health situation worsens and this poses great pressure on our medical staff and hospitals.”

The French authorities placed the Marseille region and its environs, in addition to the overseas island of Guadeloupe, within the “most dangerous” regions, where a complete closure was imposed on all restaurants and bars. Two weeks ago, the authorities placed ten cities, including the capital, Paris, in a “high degree of caution” circle, where the prevention All gatherings in which the number of participants exceeds ten, and all sports and celebration halls have been closed, in addition to all bars closing at ten at night.

In turn, Britain has witnessed in recent weeks sharp rises in the daily injuries index, and during the past 24 hours, 6,914 new injuries were recorded, which prompted the country's authorities to impose new restrictions, including working from homes and closing bars and restaurants earlier.

Sweden was not better off, as it recorded the largest daily increase in injuries since last June, while the Italian Ministry of Health announced the registration of more than two thousand new infections for the first time since late April.

The Spanish authorities, in turn, decided to impose general isolation measures in the capital, Madrid, in the coming days, after an order from the central government to ban unnecessary movements there, after it returned to witness the worst outbreak of the virus in Europe.

The general isolation will include Madrid and nine neighboring municipalities, during which the borders will be closed to those coming from outside the region for any unnecessary visits, and travel will be allowed only for work, study, treatment and shopping, and the ban on the work of bars and restaurants will begin at eleven at night instead of one in the morning.

Spain, which was one of the countries most affected by the first wave of the pandemic, has so far recorded 769,188 infections, the largest number in Western Europe, in addition to 31,791 deaths resulting from the virus.

In the Netherlands, which in recent days has recorded the highest daily infection rate since the outbreak of the epidemic, the government announced the imposition of new measures to contain the virus, including partially closing restaurants and reducing the number of gatherings from 100 to 50 people in some cities that suffer from high infection rates.

Developments that imposed themselves on the European continent, with the significant increase in the rates of corona infection, prompted the governments of these countries to implement new isolation measures to contain the spread of the virus.
