A children's exhibition entitled “Tomorrow is an Artist” opened in Aleppo today, which included 25 paintings of twenty children, in the artist Mohamed Zidan Gallery.
The plastic artist Zidan, Director of the "Art Academy" Center, stated that the importance of the exhibition appears in the product of students who have been trained in the mechanism of drawing according to specific models, noting that the exhibition is a tribute to these children and includes their spontaneous and childish works that carry peace and simplicity through their visual memory and what they lived through from the war.
For her part, Saba Azizi, the Supervisor of Children’s Training, pointed out that they were trained within 3 months, as they are reaping their fatigue today, considering that the exhibitions contribute to refining the talents of children and supporting them.
Ahmed Haj Ali, the father of one of the participating children, pointed out the aesthetics of the exhibition, that the city of Aleppo needs to be an outlet for children to learn, empty their activities and develop their talents.
Among the participating children, Nour Turkmani, who did not expect to paint in this beautiful way, thanked everyone who encouraged her to pursue this hobby.
As for the child Abdelkader Rihawi, he expressed his happiness with participating, as he loves drawing and owns this hobby, indicating that he has learned a lot in this field and that his performance has improved during the past two months as a result of supervisors and family following him.
