Burglary occurred on Lantau Island.
A 35-year-old resident of a village house surnamed Ye Nan on Tung Chung Road, Sheung Lingpi, reported the case at 10 pm on October 1 stating that the village house was ransacked and suspected of being burglary.
Police officers arrived at the scene, and after preliminary calculations, about 140,000 yuan in cash and 10,000 yuan were missing.
After preliminary investigation, the case was classified as "burglary" and was handed over to the Criminal Investigation Team of the Lantau Police District for follow-up. No one has been arrested yet.
