Belarus announced sanctions on Friday in response to those imposed by the EU on Belarusian officials accused of cracking down on the opposition or falsifying the presidential outcome.

Belarus is introducing a list of sanctions replicating (to those of the EU) from today,
" the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, adding that the list would not be made public.
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko is not personally targeted by the European measures.
