The French Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded nearly 17,000 new infections with the Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours, announcing a new record in the number of daily infections.
Reuters quoted sources in the ministry as saying: “16,972 new cases of corona were recorded, bringing the total number of cases to 606625 and deaths to 32198 after 49 new cases were recorded.
Last week, France recorded a record number of injuries, reaching 16,096 injured.
