The Pricing Committee of the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection has set the prices of a number of foodstuffs, “sugar, oil, rice, bulgur, meat and eggs” in proportion to the cost price, as part of the efforts made to control prices.
According to a statement by the Ministry today, Sanaa received a copy of it. The price of one kilogram of sugar in bulk was set at 1000 Syrian pounds, for the consumer 1050 pounds, and the kilogram of Chinese rice in bulk 1150 Syrian pounds, and for the consumer 1200 pounds, and one liter of sunflower oil for the total 3075 pounds and the consumer 3200 pounds and one kilogram of a substance Bulgur wholesale is 1025 Syrian pounds and for the consumer 1100 pounds.
The statement also specified the price of a plate of eggs in bulk is 3550 pounds, for the consumer 3600 pounds, and one kilogram of slaughtered and cleaned chicken is 4450 pounds, for the consumer is 4500 pounds, and the price per kilogram of live sheep meat in bulk is 6400 pounds, and for the consumer is 6500 pounds and the bulk of it is 10900 and for the consumer 11000 pounds and the live veal in bulk is 4400 pounds and for the consumer 4500 Lira and the calf for wholesale is 11900 liras, and for the consumer 12,000 liras.
The Ministry called on the owners of commercial activities to adhere to the price bulletin issued by it and not to exceed it, calling on citizens to inform whoever is selling these materials at a price in excess of the established price to take the necessary measures against violators.
