Tonight (Saturday), the police distributed hundreds of reports to demonstrators in Tel Aviv and other protest centers around the country, for non-compliance with the Corona regulations and restrictions imposed on gatherings in the public space.

Before registering the reports, police issued warnings to protesters demanding to keep capsules, distance and wear masks.

The police clarified that enforcement in Tel Aviv is in accordance with the new regulations as approved by the government, according to which protest will be allowed within the limits of up to 20 people per capsule, while keeping distance between the capsules, wearing masks, and that protesters will not be more than 1,000 meters away.

During some of the protests, clashes broke out between demonstrators and police forces, with some of the demonstrators in Tel Aviv marching on several streets, blocking major arteries.

During the clashes, some of the demonstrators and policemen were lightly injured, as well as Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai, who was injured in the hand.

More than 15 demonstrators were arrested in the city for violating restrictions and public order, and three more demonstrators were arrested during a demonstration in front of Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi's home in Kfar Saba.
