A man was found dead in his submerged car in Saint-Martin-Vésubie (Alpes-Maritimes), severely affected by very violent weather on Friday evening, firefighters announced on Sunday October 4.

This man is the fourth victim of these bad weather which ravaged the south-east of France, in the Nice hinterland, and the north-west of Italy.
Sunday morning, the Italian rescue services had already announced that they had found the body of a French shepherd in the Roya river.
Two deaths had also been counted in Italy the day before.
