father
(52) suddenly collapsed.
The
emergency services of
the
Bavarian Red Cross
(BRK)
were immediately
called for help.

It was around
noon on Sunday
when the family of four left the
ball mill
and
climbed
through the
Almbachklamm
towards
Almberg
.
About a quarter of an hour before the destination, the
family man
collapsed
and remained motionless on the way.
Hikers watching the man fall immediately rushed to the rescue.
They started with
first aid measures
and made an
emergency call
around 12 noon
, reports the
BRK
.
Rescue workers from
the
Ettenberg mountain
rescue team
immediately set off
and walked down to the scene of the accident.
The
rescue helicopter
"Christoph 14" from
Traunstein
flew an ambulance and a mountain rescuer from
Schellenberg
towards the
Almbachklamm
.
They had to be set down a little below the scene of the accident as the forest was less dense there.
Despite the immediate
resuscitation
measures
and the quick help of the
rescue workers
, the 52-year-old died on site.

rescue workers were
on duty for around three hours.
