Joe Biden is widening the gap from Donald Trump, less than a month before the US presidential election, according to two new polls released today (Sunday).

In a poll by the Wall Street Journal and NBC, the Democratic nominee widens the gap from the Republican president to 14 percent - 53 percent to 39 percent.

Last month, this time among opponents was 8%.

The poll was conducted after the first and chaotic confrontation last week, and before Trump was diagnosed positive for the corona virus over the weekend.

According to the poll, unusually, one event affected the change - the confrontation between the two, during which Trump repeatedly interrupted Biden.

This is the former vice president's biggest gap over the president in a joint poll by the newspaper and the network.
