Dozens of ultra-Orthodox blocked the streets, confronted police officers, set fire to bins and threw stones at police vehicles traveling in the neighborhood.

At one point, they even went down in the direction of Bar Lev Boulevard (the main road in the city) and blocked the passage.

The police say that in the disturbances, two vehicles were killed in the stones, but according to the ultra-Orthodox, this is a higher number of vehicles and police vehicles, some with a number of civilians, who were killed and their windows smashed.

In a number of synagogues in the neighborhood, civilians were placed at the entrances for the purpose of guarding and warning against the raid of police forces.

After several hours of riots, YSM forces and border guards raided the area, handing out fines for violating the guidelines and arresting four rioters.
