At 7 am, the Observatory recorded a temperature of 25.2 degrees and a relative humidity of 87%. The highest UV index today is predicted to be about 8, indicating a very high intensity.

A strong northeast monsoon is affecting the coastal areas of Guangdong; at 5 o'clock in the morning, tropical storm Canhong gathered about 1170 kilometers east-southeast of Okinawa Island, and is expected to move northwestward at a speed of about 12 kilometers per hour, crossing Japan South of the sea.
