Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani finally has a club and it is one of the giants of Europe: Manchester United.
The attacker had yet to define his future after leaving Paris Saint-Germain in June, following the completion of his contract with the Parisian club.

The 33-year-old is linked to the Red Devils for one season, with the option of an additional season extension, according to the club's statement.
"Manchester United is one of the best clubs in the world, and it is an honor to be here," Cavani told the official website of the English team.
"I have worked very hard in my spare time and I am excited to compete and represent this incredible club."
Cavani also said he can't wait to play against the atmosphere of Manchester's Old Trafford Stadium.
The funny thing is that the Uruguayan will soon face his former teammates with the shirt of his new club.
Manchester make their debut against PSG in the next edition of the Champions League.
They will play for the group stage on October 20, at the Parc des Princes, and on December 2, at Old Trafford.
Cavani will have time to prepare for that clash.
His arrival at Manchester United takes place just after the forward was left out of the Uruguayan team's call-up, for the October dates of the qualifying rounds for Qatar 2022.
This will be the Matador's first experience in the Premier League.
He comes from winning six Ligue 1 titles with PSG, and is the top scorer in the history of the Parisian team.
He also made his mark in Italy: he was the top scorer in Serie A with Napoli and also stood out with Palermo.
In total, Cavani has scored 341 goals since his arrival on the old continent in 2007.
At the national team level, Cavani is Uruguay's second highest historical scorer, with 50 goals in 116 games played.
Only Luis Suárez surpasses it.
His most important title with his country is the 2011 Copa América.
