Eight people, including four members of the Afghan security forces, were killed and 38 others were injured in a terrorist car bombing in Laghman province, east of the country today.
"The terrorist attack targeted the convoy of the governor of Muhtarlam, may God have mercy on him, Yarmal, as it passed through the Sultan Ghazi Baba area, killing four civilians and four security personnel and wounding 38 others, including two security personnel, while the governor survived," Xinhua news agency quoted a local government statement.
At least 15 people were killed and more than 30 others were wounded in a terrorist car bomb attack targeting a government headquarters in Nangarhar Province, eastern Afghanistan, yesterday.
