An IDF spokesman said tonight (Monday) that an IAF aircraft attacked a Hamas military post in the southern Gaza Strip, in response to rocket fire into Israeli territory tonight.
According to an Arab report, the IDF launched another wave of attacks in the Gaza Strip, during which Hamas observation posts and storage complexes in the northern and southern Gaza Strip were bombed.
As you may recall, at 8:19 PM, a red alert was activated in the Eshkol Regional Council following a launch from the Gaza Strip.
The rocket exploded in an open area and there are no casualties.
"The launch of the rocket tonight at the Eshkol area was a complete surprise for us. We expected the calm to continue more and more, but someone in the Gaza Strip tickled their fingers. We expect the IDF to respond and hit them," a resident of the Eshkol Regional Council told Israel Today.
