Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov assured that his country would not stand idly by if restrictions were imposed on it that hinder the arrival of Russian goods to the European Union market.
The Russian news agency TASS quoted Lavrov as saying during his meeting with members of the European Businessmen Association in Russia today, "Moscow will not leave without a response any additional restrictions that may be imposed to limit the access of Russian goods to the European Union markets," noting that the European Commission has prepared a report that includes "distortions." A great deal on the Russian economy ”with the aim of conducting investigations in the area of trade protection.
The Russian Foreign Minister stressed that the report is openly biased and includes additional restrictions on the arrival of Russian goods to the European Union market, stressing that such restrictions will not remain unanswered.
