US President Donald Trump has announced that he will be released today (Monday) from Walter Reed Military Hospital in the state of Maryland after being in it since Friday night.

In a tweet on the social network Twitter, the president wrote: "I will leave the wonderful Walter Reed Hospital at six-thirty in the evening. I feel really good."

The president added: "Do not be afraid of the corona. Do not let it control your life. We have developed under my administration great medicine and knowledge. I feel better now than I did twenty years ago!".

Earlier, they expressed optimism at the White House after the president's medical staff announced that he might be released from hospital today and return to recovery at the White House, Reuters reported.

Mark Meadows, head of the White House staff, told the media that he hopes the president will be released from the hospital soon.

Meadows noted that the president will meet with the nurses and doctors to assess his condition and after examining the pace of his recovery a decision will be made whether to release him from hospital or not.

"We are all very optimistic that he will be able to return to the White House today," Medus concluded.

Despite the optimism, the president is being treated with drugs such as steroids and remedsibir, which he will have to continue to take even after his hospitalization, which has cost him fatigue and weakness.

The president has been treated with steroids and the lung drug dexamethasone, drugs that are reserved for patients whose condition is severe and may, under certain conditions, lead to various side effects.

However, news of an improvement in the president's condition and the hope that he would return to the White House today led to price increases on the New York Stock Exchange and the Dow Jones industrial average rose 0.75 percent, the NASDAQ rose 0.72 percent and the S&P index rose 0.64. Tenths of a percent.

The rise in the stock market was preceded by an announcement from the White House and a tweet by the president on the social network Twitter, according to which he plans to transfer a new package of incentives to the American economy.
