In the industrial zone of Lattakia, the works of implementing the project of replacing the paving layers and paving the metallurgical zone, which is being implemented by the workshops of the General Company for Construction and Development, have begun.
Engineer Muhammad Amin Ali, Director of the Industrial Zone, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the cost of the project amounts to 80 million Syrian pounds and comes within several projects being implemented in the region to improve its infrastructure, especially with regard to roads, sanitation and electrical supply.
He pointed to the continuation of work on a similar project to replace the paving layers and paving the main street of the al-Majabel area with a value of 100 million Syrian pounds from the implementation of the Military Construction Execution Corporation branch (6) in addition to replacing the paving layers and paving the roads surrounding the building materials area with a total value of 75 million Syrian pounds.
