Hundreds of people came to a man’s home in the city of Bat Yam after it uploaded a record on social media in which he was seen beating his dog cruelly tied up. 

Videos uploaded to social networks show civilians threatening the man and interfering with the police forces who arrived at the scene to arrest the man and lead him to arrest.

Finally, the police arrested the suspect and removed him from the scene.

The dog was taken by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Animal Welfare Association for treatment. 

Mayor Zvika Brut is now present at the scene: "I was amazed to see the shocking videos that were circulated on the Internet in the last hour, and I commend the municipal police for their professional and good work.

"Together with the police, we will make every effort to bring him to justice for the serious act." 

The mayor was present at the scene and the crews transferred the dog to professional care.

In addition, dozens of people arrived at the scene and tried to harm the dog's owner, but the police prevented them from doing so.
