What had been reported to the integrated control center in Rosenheim yesterday at around 12.45 p.m. as a suspected cellar fire in Neuhaus, turned out to be a hot construction dryer on site.
And the fire department came in time.
As the Miesbach police station reported on request, the deployment in Josefsthaler Strasse in the Neuhaus district of Schliersee was not a major problem for the two fire departments.
At around 1.30 p.m. the operation was over, the fire in the dryer was extinguished and the technically defective device was safely outside.
The construction dryer should obviously help to dry water damage in the basement.
But in the middle of it thick smoke developed, which had been reported to the control center.
The police estimate the damage to the device and cellar at around 5000 euros.
