A furniture depot of some 10,000 square meters completely caught fire on Tuesday, October 6 in the evening in Marseille, for a still unknown reason, without causing injuries or causing evacuations, we learned from the marine firefighters. from the city.
Shortly before one o'clock in the morning Wednesday, a hundred firefighters and thirty devices were still mobilized against the flames, in a semi-industrial area near the Saint-Pierre cemetery, to the east of the city.

The marine firefighters, called on site around 11:10 pm, were notably equipped with a dozen fire hoses with a capacity of 1,000 liters per second each.
Explosions were heard,
"probably paint cans or aerosols"
present among the furniture stored in this depot, according to the spokesperson for the marine firefighters with AFP.
Evacuated and examined by the emergency services on the spot, the three site guards were not hit by the flames or by the heavy smoke released by the disaster.
