The body which will bring together APHP, scientists, liberal doctors, representatives of traders, liberal professions ... must think about

While for 15 days, Paris and the departments of the inner suburbs are subject to new restrictions to limit Covid contamination, the Town Hall is setting up an advisory council to adapt the City to the health crisis that endures.

"The idea is to think about solutions to avoid the" stop-and-go "which has been applied for several months", explains Anne Souyris, assistant (EELV) in health.

This consultation mechanism must involve various actors in the city: the APHP of course, which will provide in particular data on the progress of the epidemic in the capital, the partners who had already joined forces for the Covisan project (the agency regional health (ARS), territorial professional health communities (CPTS), municipal medical-social centers), scientists but also other actors plunged into the heart of the health crisis such as liberal doctors.

The various parties confronted with the crisis will also sit in this consultation mechanism.

“In fact, we will involve the players as soon as they are directly affected by the crisis: the Rectorate if the appearance of clusters in schools multiplies, representatives of traders ... But also the mayors of districts.

The mayor of Paris is particularly keen on this local dimension, ”explains Anne Souyris, who is leading the project in direct connection with the mayor's office.

"Try to anticipate as much as possible"

“The idea is to get in line of battle to try to anticipate as much as possible and offer the government alternatives to the closure of establishments.

We wish to be a force of proposal to adapt the city to the health crisis which continues ”, insists Madam Health of the Town hall.

A way to oppose or challenge the next government decisions?

A few weeks ago, many local elected officials criticized the state's lack of consultation on the restrictive measures applied in the face of the expansion of the epidemic.

“The idea is not to criticize the government.

The last time, Prime Minister Jean Castex seemed to want more with the mayors, we are preparing for it ”, defends Anne Souyris.
