The alleged perpetrator holed up and threatened the

, according to three employees of the

.

surrounds the
Postbank
and can arrest the suspect after around three hours.

He is therefore a former police student from Brandenburg.
A spokesman for the
Berlin police
has now confirmed a
SEK operation
to free the hostages.
The special task force had therefore waited for a "favorable time" and then stormed the branch.
There was therefore no exchange of fire.
It is also unclear whether and to what extent the alleged perpetrator was armed.

"Emergency forces matched a favorable time and overwhelmed the man," said a police spokesman for the

about the access of the special forces.

But it should be a man.
After about three hours of negotiations, according to reports, a
SEK
stormed
the bank in the Forum Köpenick
and arrested the suspect.

The alleged perpetrator had threatened two women and a man, employees of the bank.
"After they had been in contact with the suspect for a long time, the emergency services could just arrest him," says the tweet.
At 2 p.m. after the alleged
bank robbery,
the first alarm was received by the
police
, who then
cordoned off and surrounded
the
Forum Köpenick
in the capital with 200 officers.

”.
There had previously been reports that no hostage-taking had occurred.
