Firefighting teams of the Forestry Department of the Agriculture Directorate in Lattakia, with the support of a helicopter, managed this evening to extinguish the fire that erupted in neglected agricultural lands and a part of the woodland full of thorns in the vicinity of the village of Bsatir in the countryside of Jableh.

Engineer Basem Duba, Director of the Forestry Department, said in a statement to the SANA reporter that four fire engines belonging to the forest and three teams of workers equipped with manual equipment participated in extinguishing the fire, and that the fire is now in the cooling phase while the specialized teams are working to count the area of ​​the fire and the damages caused by it. .
