After a series of ideas and turns, communications later denied and a harsh intern in one of the employers' chambers, finally this Wednesday
the joint venture of Commerce employees was closed
, the most important in the private sector of the country due to the number of personnel which includes:
1.2 million workers.
The agreement was confirmed to
Clarín
by official and business sources.
It was signed directly at the Ministry of Labor and under the direct supervision of the head of the labor portfolio, Claudio Moroni.
The agreement establishes
the payment of 6 installments of $ 5,000 in the months of October, November, December and January, February and March 2021
.
That is, $ 30,000 in total, according to the Argentine Chamber of Commerce in a statement.
Signature of the mercantile parity, this Wednesday, at the Ministry of Labor.
The agreement is valid until March 31, 2021, without prejudice to which the parties agreed to meet in January 2021 to analyze the economic variations that may have occurred.
Simultaneously, it was agreed that as of September 2020
the $ 4,000
granted by DNU 14/2020 last January and the $ 2,000 granted in the review of the one carried out last February
will
be incorporated into the basic salaries of all categories
.
The authorities had already issued the
mandatory conciliation due
to the fear that the Federation of Commercial Employees would start with force measures due to the delay in reaching the agreement.
On September 17, the commercial union, commanded by Armando Cavalieri, had come out to announce an agreement that was later denied first by CAME and then by the other two business chambers that intervene in the negotiation, the powerful CAC and UDECA.
That agreement established the payment of $ 5,000 per month in September, October, November and December 2020, and in January, February and March 2021. In total, $ 35,000.
According to union, business and official sources, one of the issues that conspired for that agreement to be able to stand was an intern in the CAME, who had to elect her new authorities last Friday, October 2.
The audience for this Wednesday had been set precisely to wait for the elections to pass in that business chamber.
But in the middle the devil stuck his tail and the General Inspection of Justice, last week, suspended the holding of the Ordinary General Assembly of CAME.
In a statement, the CAC reported that this noon was agreed "an extraordinary one-time, non-remunerative and exceptional bonus of $ 30,000, to be paid in 6 monthly and consecutive installments, of $ 5,000 each, payable together with the salaries for the months of October, November and December 2020, and January, February and March 2021 ".
The CAC added in its statement: "It is worth informing that the respective amounts are not included in the basic salaries of the agreement, and have an impact only on the additions of presentism and seniority."
The agreement is
valid until March 31, 2021
.
However, the parties agreed to meet "in January 2021 to analyze the economic variations that may have occurred."
