This Wednesday, October 7, the jurors of the Giono Prize unveiled their second selection.
They selected six authors and therefore ousted five.
It should be noted that among the writers selected, many appear in other lists.

Four women are in the running, including Marie-Hélène Lafon already present with
Histoire du fils
, (Buchet-Chastel) on the second list of Femina.
For his part, Maël Renouard appears with the
historiographer of the kingdom
, (Grasset) on the second list of the Prix Goncourt and the first list of the Grand prix du roman de l'Académie française.

Last year, the author made a double blow with

Will it be the same with his latest novel?
The jury for the Jean Giono Prize is made up of Paule Constant from the Académie Goncourt, Tahar Ben Jelloun from the Académie Goncourt, Étienne de Montety, Metin Arditi, David Foenkinos, Franz-Olivier Giesbert, Sylvie Giono, Robert Kopp, Vera Michalski and Marianne Payot.
